Hi Shirley,
First off, could that foal be my best buddy, Solomon?
Secondly, we do see each other off and on, but thought you might like to pass on the other horse info to others.
After watching Morgan riding for all those years, I finally bought myself my own horse and even though my knees are
finished and I need both my knees replaced, I am riding. Of course for those of you that know me,
I had to find a horse that has had some issues in his younger years and it has taken a long time to gain his trust.
He still has his days. Of course we all know that I don't spoil him rotten.
Ram, who had to be retired due to COPD (Lung disease) is actually doing quite well and I still keep Jack
informed on how he is doing. I just received a letter from Jack about a month ago saying that Ram was the
last horse that he has even touched since he left.
And last but not least, for all the Scanner fans out there. Yes, he is still alive and kicking (not literally)
but he is in Perth with Frances Rubink who says she uses him to humble anyone that says they are really good riders.
He also is gently carrying disabled children, as that, I believe, is what he was made to do.
Apparently, he carries them like they were made of glass and never puts a foot wrong.
This is a great idea Shirley and look forward to hearing from everyone else.
Donna Vaughan (used to be Guertin)
p.s. Morgan is in Australia and is coming home in March to her young horse that is now topping 18hh. He is a giant, but a big gentle baby.

Hi Shirley,
As I work such strange hours, you might also want to give out my home e-mail click here
In my e-mail I forgot to include that my horse is a Belgian/QH named Snuffy (sucky eh)? But he actually is like a tiny little horse in this great big body, but when he gets scared, he either snorks like Scanner used to or can lash out and double in two quick as a wink. Thankfully I have never been the recipient of any of that. Don't ask some of the other horses or vets though. He hates men too. A man after my own heart I guess.Ha! Ha! When anyone asks me if I have a man in my life I always say yes "He's tall blonde and 1400 lbs". I get some very strange looks when I say that. When I went looking for a horse I decided that I wanted a gelding and I didn't want a grey, appy, or palomino. What do I get? This giant palomino that tore my heart out. Oh well, I am riding and I'm thrilled.
Sorry to carry on. Just please add my two e-mail addresses what type of horse I own and his name and I guess you could add that Morgan's horse is named Aidan (an Irish Sport).
Hope all is well and have a good Night/Day.
Donna
