Hi Shirley!

Just wanted to add to your list of riders from the past.Ê I think I would qualify cause I knew Centaur at it's beginnings when the barn was being transformed and all the work that made Centaur as beautiful as it is now was being done.

My name is Claire (Rollo) Leclerc and I was a summer visitor to Navan since I was ten.Ê Great horsey memories there..as I would visit my horsey aunt and get to ride and show hackneys for Bill Mcwilliams then of Navan and show hunter with my aunt's horse Twiggy.Ê It was the Guertins who introduced me to Dressage and to this day when I am schooling on the flat I hear Claire's and Shirley's voice when I approach corners andÊ "there are no straight lines in a circle!"

As my aunt and I just visited Centaur at Navan, we couldn't get over where the time had gone for one thing....but mostly how the facilty had grown!

Now my daughters have ridden as well and my youngest still gets me to give her a flat lesson despite her being a hunter rider. I repeat to them the basics I learned so well at Centaur Riding School.
